The City of Ashland is divided into two wards. Ward 1 is east of the center line of 19th Street. Ward 2 is west of the center line of 19th Street. Each ward is represented by two council members. The Mayor is elected by all the citizens in the City. The Mayor and City Council are elected to four year terms.

Meetings

Council meetings are held on the first and third Thursdays at 7:00 p.m. at the Ashland City Hall Council Chambers, 2304 Silver Street.
